What is GTFCC and its LOGO stands for?

GTFCC-- Eph. 2:8

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--

Grace –means salvation completely apart from any merit or works on our part. grace means that God does it all for Jesus' sake. Our salvation is the gift of God not a reward.

Through—Through means channel.

Faith—Faith, like grace, is not static. Saving faith is more than just understanding the facts and mentally acquiescing. It is inseparable from repentance, surrender, and a supernatural longing to obey. None of those responses can be classified exclusively as a human work, any more than believing itself is solely a human effort.

Community—community means a group of interdependent organisms inhabiting the same region and interacting with each other.

Church—Church means the congregation of saints, in which the Gospel is rightly taught and the Sacraments are rightly administered.

LOGO

CROSS— means the sacrificial atonement given by our Lord Jesus Christ.

HEART-SHAPED MEN— means great love from John 3:16. He first loved us.

TWO MEN— one small and one medium- it comes from the word Syzygus means “yokefellow, comrades, teammate, companion, mistah” – equality in endeavors, standing or rank, and synchronicity in  the body of Christ.

CHURCH HISTORY

Church History

Syzygus in Christ Church can look back to almost 4 years of God's faithfulness (May 3, 2006). First organized as a home Bible study (mid-wek service)in a small house in Brgy. San Antonio de Padua 2, Dasmariñas, Cavite at Ptr. Gemo Balanon Residence comprising only 9 people, the group grew to more than 20 people mostly residing in  Dasmariñas, with more than half of the attenders being members of Green Pastures Community Church. Early on, the activities pushed through Bible Club for children (Sta. Maria), and hosted Vacation Bible Schools during summer. Its Sunday School Bible study group is now on its 3rd uninterrupted year, having welcomed many to study together the Scriptures for life application, continues to be one of the main teaching ministries of the church today. Several of the members of this study went on to be baptized and became members of the church.

The Overseers ( with Pastor Crisostomo “Thom” Agustin) sought recognition from the Securities and Exchange Commission as a non-profit religious organization, which was granted in May 15, 2006. Grace Through Faith Community Church was used as a new name of the church on early January of 2010, and its Pastor, Dennis I. Panganiban. On July 9, 2008, Guillermo V. Balanon Jr. known as Sir Jhun was installed as an Elder of the church by Pastor Perry Liwanag our Pastor from The Master’s Flock Christian Church—Golden City, Anabu- F II, Imus.

Today, GTFCC has a membership of 50 and is growing in grace. We look back in awe at what God has done, and look forward in anticipation at what He yet will do for us. Great are His deeds. He is faithful and His love for His people endures. We thank the Lord Jesus for organizing and sustaining the Grace Through Faith Community Church."
